Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you register or choose a plan — what Calcopolis can do, how it works on your website, and how quotas and billing work.

Product & use cases

Calcopolis is an online platform for building interactive calculators and business forms you can embed on your website. Use it to quote prices, show ROI, collect leads, and turn visitors into customers — without hiring a developer.

Typical projects include pricing calculators, service quote forms, ROI and savings tools, order configurators, and lead-generation forms with calculations. If visitors need an instant answer before they contact you, Calcopolis is a fit.

Small businesses, freelancers, and agencies. Business owners use it to sell and qualify leads; freelancers deliver calculators for clients; agencies scale quote and intake tools across many sites.

No. You build visually in the editor. Paid plans also unlock custom CSS and JavaScript when you need deeper branding or advanced behavior.

Calcopolis is built around calculations, conditional logic, live results, charts, and conversion workflows. Forms are not just data collection — they help visitors understand price and value, then capture the lead at the right moment.

Yes. Browse the Template Gallery, pick a ready-made calculator, customize it for your business, and publish.

How it works

Add fields and content blocks, define formulas, set visibility rules, then publish. A live preview helps you refine the experience before it goes on your site.

Publish your calculator and paste the embed code into your page. It works with custom HTML and common website builders.

Yes. Calculators are responsive. You can embed them on WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, and other sites that allow custom HTML or a script embed.

Yes. Results update as people change inputs. You can show numbers, breakdowns, and charts (bar, line, pie) so the outcome is easy to understand.

Yes. Conditional visibility lets you personalize the flow — shorter forms, clearer choices, and higher completion rates.

Yes. Split long quotes into wizard-style steps so visitors focus on one decision at a time.

Add a lead-capture step to your calculator. Submissions appear in your Calcopolis panel so your team can follow up with full context from the calculation.

Yes. You can notify your team (and optionally the visitor) when a form is submitted. Email volume is limited by your plan quota.

Yes on paid plans with automated workflows. Send data via webhooks and APIs to tools like n8n, Zapier, Make, or your own CRM.

Yes. Append submissions to Google Sheets or trigger Google Apps Script for custom follow-up logic.

Yes. Use goal tracking and custom JavaScript (on eligible plans) to measure calculator conversions in Google Analytics 4.

Yes. Use themes, fonts, and styling controls. Paid plans include whitelabel (no Calcopolis branding) plus custom CSS and JavaScript for a fully on-brand embed.

Plans, quotas & billing

Yes. The Free plan is $0 forever and includes:

  • 1 form
  • 50 leads / month
  • 50 emails / month
  • 1,000 form views / month
  • 5 MB storage

It is ideal for trying Calcopolis and launching a first calculator. Paid plans add higher limits, whitelabel, automated workflows, and custom CSS & JavaScript.

Paid plans increase your monthly quotas and unlock advanced features. Current plans:

  • Basic — $19/month: 10 forms, 500 leads, 500 emails, 10,000 views, 100 MB storage
  • Professional — $49/month (most popular): 50 forms, 5,000 leads, 5,000 emails, 100,000 views, 500 MB storage
  • Agency — $199/month: 200 forms, 50,000 leads, 50,000 emails, 2,000,000 views, 1,000 MB storage

All paid plans include whitelabel, automated workflows, and custom CSS & JavaScript. See Pricing for the latest details.

Forms are the calculators/forms in your account. Leads are stored submissions. Emails are notification messages sent through Calcopolis. Form views are loads of your published/embedded calculator. Storage covers media and related assets in your account.

Leads and emails have a hard limit — once you reach the monthly cap, new leads or email sends for that period are blocked until the quota renews or you upgrade.

Form views use a soft limit. Occasional traffic spikes will not cut off your calculator. If higher traffic stays elevated for a while, you will need to move to a plan that matches your ongoing usage.

Yes. You can change plans anytime after registration. Upgrade when you need more capacity or features; downgrade if your needs shrink.

You can pay monthly or yearly. Yearly billing includes a discount versus paying month by month (for example, Basic saves $38/year, Professional $98/year, Agency $398/year at current rates). Toggle monthly/yearly on the Pricing page to compare.

You can start on the Free plan with no credit card and upgrade when you are ready. Paid subscriptions are handled through Stripe when you choose a plan.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. After you register, you manage your subscription, payment method, and invoices from your billing settings / Stripe customer portal.

Yes. Cancel whenever you want from billing settings. You keep access through the period you already paid for; afterward your account continues under Free plan limits so your work is not simply deleted overnight.

Yes. Billing runs through Stripe, and business customers can receive proper sales documents / invoices for their subscription payments. Add your company details in account settings when needed.

Getting started & support

Many users publish a first version the same day — especially when starting from a template. Complex pricing logic takes longer, but you do not need a development project to go live.

Use in-app templates, the Docs (guides and cookbooks), and the Features overview. Start simple, then add formulas, leads, and integrations.

Yes. If you prefer a done-for-you project, contact us about custom calculator development. Many teams start on self-serve and only outsource the more complex builds.

Visit Contact or email contact@calcopolis.com. We help with product questions, onboarding, billing, and custom calculator projects.
