Save Lead

Save visitor contact details as a lead you can review in Calcopolis.

In the builder: select a widget → On Click or On ChangeAdd actionSave Lead


Behavior

When the action runs, mapped form values are sent to Calcopolis and stored as a new lead.

  • Runs via the embed API (server-side storage).
  • Only properties you map in setup are saved — leave unused fields empty.
  • All current form variables can be attached for context.
  • If reCAPTCHA is enabled, verification is included in the request.

Setup fields

Open the action settings (gear icon next to Save Lead) → Setup tab. Map lead properties to form variable Names:

Field Description
Email Visitor email — map to your email Text field.
Phone Phone number variable.
First name Given name.
Last name Family name.
Company name Organization.
VAT number Tax / VAT ID.
Street Street address.
Home number Building or flat number.
City City.
Zip code Postal code.
Subject Short subject line.
Message Free-text message — map to a Textarea.

Action name

Internal label in the builder action list. Use distinct names when the same widget runs multiple actions.

From the main menu, open Leads. Each entry shows mapped fields and captured variables.

Save Lead vs Send Email?

Save Lead stores data inside Calcopolis. Send Email delivers a Message template to an inbox. Use both on Submit for internal storage and email notification.
